For the ninth year in a row, Florida Bowlriders Cup made its way through Kona Skatepark, but not without the help of sponsors, staff and volunteers.  This event could have never survived without their tireless dedication, hard  work, and faith in what we are doing with Bowlriding.

I would like to thank this years sponsors: Vans, Powell Peralta, Bones, Heros Brand, Sunrise Surf Shop, Grind For Life,Lake Skates, Sinister Skate Shop, Demon Seed, Stance and Triple Eight.  Our Judging Staff:  Clint McQuarry, Bob Umble, Donny Griffin, Brad Cantrell, Rich Paine and Jim Webb. Our Volunteers:  Wyld Timz - DJ Wyldman, Suzanne Darsey, Allister Flores, Cassidy Altman, Scott with Menace Skateboards and the entire Kona Staff.  Gotta give shout out to Brian at Lil B's BBQ for Saturdays feast and Sundays cookout;  Photographers Stefan Judge Photography and Surf Dog Photography;  Dave Hackett and Steve Olson just for showing up; Lee Leal bringing the Embassy Crew all the way from Texas; Steve Marinak and Binky Conklin for bringing Florida Skateboard Hall of Fame to Kona;  Craig Snyder for hosting his book signing of "The Secret History of the Ollie" and to all the parents, families and friends that came out to celebrate, arguably, some of the worlds best skateboarders.  It wouldn't be much fun if now one showed up.

Last, but certainly not least, I could not have survived the weekend without Cassidy Ramos, who has been doing registration and scorekeeping since day one, and my lovely wife Laurie, for tolerating all my meltdowns (yes that actually happens) and keeping me focused.  We are all looking forward to 2016 and the 10-year anniversary of Florida Bowlriders Cup.
