Looks like the weekend will be too cold for a campout, so instead we're having a night filled with activities! Come out this Saturday the 28th and skate with the 5boro Team and enjoy a cookout and movies on the big screen after dark. We're even breaking out the timers and having races down the snake run. The fun will get started around 5pm, so dress warm and we'll see you there!

First of all, Happy Birthday Broc!

Broc is one of the two managers here at Kona, and today is his 21st birthday, so if you see him around tell him Happy Birthday.

November 21st, 2009:

The results are in!  The third stop of the KSS street series went down without a hitch.  Now called the Kona Jam,  the new format was well received and made for some great skating.  All the riders competed in a jam format and the finals of the sponsored division was a single elimination head to head battle.  Congratulations to all our winners and thank for all those who came out and enjoyed another great day of skateboarding.

its as easy as that!

The videos and photos can be taken from anywhere in Jacksonville or St. Augustine (they dont have to be directly related to Kona Skatepark) The ONLY thing we ask is to please KEEP IT CLEAN.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to our local skater and employee, Favian Rubio. Favian was  the winner of the 16 and up divison of the Harvest Jam down at Tampa Skatepark .

We sure are proud of you Favian! Great Job!!!

November 14th, 2009:

The Results are in!  The Stone Edge 9-Bowl contest was sick.  Watching everyone throw it down in one of North Americas oldest concrete bowls was inspiring to say the least.  The pics are still coming in so check back Monday for more updates.

The Halloween Am Jam was quite a success! We had seventy-six skaters enter the competition, and a full day of exciting back to back runs. Graffiti Skate Team came out and entered almost twenty team skaters in the competition; there was also heavy representation from East  Center Skate Company, Crown Skateboards, and Arturo Clothing Co. Participants came from all over Florida, and even a few came down from Georgia. Needless to say the day went great, and everyone had fun!

 The results are now up, and can be viewed under the KSS Contest Results.
