"The 14 & Under division began with a bang shortly after 12 noon! WITP veteran, Jamie Foy was on the scene and making some noise in all three WITP contest zones. When he nailed a b/s 180 ollie-north on the four-block, we knew the game was afoot. The action was fast and furious as the youngest division was skating beyond their years! The WITP’s jam format worked splendidly as competitors were able to pump each other up and feed off of the tricks going down around them! After hotly contested finals, Devin Bagnoli knocked down 1st while Jamie Foy and Blaine Partridge followed closely in 2nd and 3rd respectively! "
Jamie Foy's b/s 180 ollie North
The 15 & Over Division competitors had been watching closely and got down to the nitty-grittiness lickitty split! Alex Pellegrino and Kanaan Dern had their bayonets attached and were slugging it out in the WITP trenches! Firmly in their way stood a formidable group of rippers who had their sights on an invite to the $25,000 Global WITP Championships (Oct 2, Arizona)!! The mayhem went back and forth and had the judges shaking their heads in disbelief. In the end it was Alex Pellegrino’s consistency and the technical difficulty of his tricks that landed him in 1st! John Belote wasn’t far behind in 2nd and Shane Carter claimed 3rd!
Frontside nosegrind, zone 1
The Pro-Am division was looking to beat back the clouds with theie technical wizardry and was more than capable given the outlandishly impressive level of talent on hand! Paul Heart, Nick Blanco, Dalton Dern and CJ Dixon headlined one of the most talented groups we’ve seen on this year’s North American tour! From Paul Hart’s fakie 360 shuv-it down the big 5, to CJ Dixon’s nollie nose-blunt, over to Nick Blanco’s nollie flip over the pyramid, these guys charged it! After three heats of extreme ripping, the judges entered therapy and the scores were punched into our tabulation supercomputer. Paul Hart ended up in 1st, CJ Dixon 2nd and Nick Blanco in 3rd!
