The Points System
Kona USA Skatepark Series are points driven contests that reward individual winners at each event as well as overall winners that have accumulated points based on results earned at qualifying events.
Four events in street, and four events in park provide an opportunity to accumulate points.
ONLY THE BEST RESULTS FROM THREE EVENTS IN EACH GENRE will be used to accumulate points. (That means you need to skate three out of four events. If you skate all four events in you genre then only the best three results will be used to determine you place in the overall standings).
Top riders from each genre will be invited to compete in the OVERALL finals at Treaty Skatepark in St. Augustine, FL. Both the Street and Park genres will compete against each other to determine overall champions.
Champions
Street Determined by the best three out of four results in four street specific contests
Park Determined by the best three out of four results in four park specific contests.
Overall Determined by the top skaters in both street and park competing against each other at the series finals.
